I have this sturdy wood and canvas director's chair, possibly made in the 1980s, which needs a new home.
The frame is robust and good quality and made from what looks like a tropical hardwood. The folding mechanism works fine.
The canvas seat and backrest look a bit tired, though are still safely supportive. One corner of the backrest cover has a hole worn through by the backrest as a result of regular use over many years.
I have turned the cover around to make the hole less obvious when in use.
The marks to the edges of the seat fabric are discoloration from direct contact with the frame when the chair is opened out, but less noticeable when in open mode than when folded up.
