I have several seedlings potted up for collection. The plant is the magisterial Thalictrum flavum “Tukker Princess”, a derivative of the wild flower commonly called meadow rue. It is a very hardy (RHS rating H7) herbaceous perennial which disappears every winter to reappear in spring. The parent plant in my garden is now 8 feet tall, with a mass of fluffy yellow flowers. It will seed itself, which may be considered a downside!
A very non- fussy plant, growing in any non-waterlogged/boggy soil but perhaps not ideally in full shade.
Some of these seedlings are already over a foot high, some only a few inches, but all should get big before the winter and flwer next spring.
