This is a lovely turquoise sari (the pictures make it look quite blue but it’s definitely turquoise). It has an embroidered border all along one length, along one short edge and about a metre of the other length.
I do have the underskirt etc if anybody wants to wear it as a sari, but obviously it’s a beautiful piece of fabric anyway. It’s a chiffon, probably polyester or similar.
I have always thought that it would make an absolutely lovely bed hanging, for a child or a teenager as the edge is so pretty.
