Cordless Spotlight. Spares/ Repair (Little Eaton DE21)

Here's another item from the serial gadget-collector's house of horrors!
Cordless spotlight with internal 6V rechargeable battery
500,000 candle power (when it works!)
Takes an automotive H3 6V-55W bulb.
Never used, but non-working - I suspect the battery has failed due to long term storage.
It should be an easy fix to either replace the battery, or you could rewire to work directly off 12V car battery (note that the bulb fitted is 6V)
