Windows 10 support from Microsoft ends in October and they are encouraging people to throw away any machine which can't be upgraded to Windows 11 (which is a lot of them!) and buy a new one. This will only contribute to the rapidly growing mountain of unnecessarily wasted electrical equipment.
So, if you do decide to replace your Windows 10 machine, please don't throw the old one away - many can be converted to run Linux and carry on being useful for many years.
Please let me know and if it is feasible to run Linux on them I'm happy to help do that and put the machines back on Freegle for anyone needing one.
