Computer (Chesham HP5)
Although this may look like a laptop, it has NO SCREEN. So, it has to be connected to an external monitor (included) - you should regard it as a desktop machine, albeit one that is small, silent, and takes less power than a normal desktop machine. It does have a working keyboard and mousepad, but it's easier to use with an external keyboard (included) and mouse (not included). Specs: Dell Latitude E5450 Intel Core i5-5300U (4 cores) 4GB RAM 250GB SSD HDMI and VGA ports 3 USB ports RJ45 connector for wired network (as well as WiFi) Headphone/microphone jack Currently running Ubuntu 24.04 (the latest, up to date and supported version) including Libre Office, Firefox (web browser) and Thunderbird (email). Can also run Windows 10 (but NOT Windows 11) - let me know if you'd prefer me to load the obsolete, unsupported Windows 10 on it instead. Included: laptop, power supply, screen, keyboard and necessary cables.

Water pump from central heating system (Chesham HP5)
Withdrawn
This pump was extracted from a defunct gas boiler but is still fully working. It pumped the water round my radiators and central heating system, but may be useful for a garden water feature or other project.

Sony CD/DVD player (DVP-NS300) (Chesham HP5)

Oneplus 8 mobile phone - cracked screen (Chesham HP5)
Gifted
This is their IN2023 model, which I think is the Oneplus 8 model. Screen is damaged in the top left corner (although the touch still works in that region) plus a crack curving across the top. Also cracked on the back. However, it still works. It also supports USB and HDMI via the USB C socket, so with the right adapter you can connect a monitor/telly to it to watch movies on a bigger screen! Also, you can connect a keyboard and mouse and use it as a mini computer.

Desktop computer, with monitor and keyboard (Chesham HP5)
Gifted
Note that this is a desktop machine, not a laptop. It will need a separate monitor and keyboard (included) but also a mouse (not included) and a wired ethernet connection to access the Internet. It also does not have a disk installed (it is shown in the pictures running from Linux booted from a USB memory stick). It's certainly not a modern fast machine, but it will display full screen videos at 1440p without too much problem. It includes cables for the computer, monitor and a VGA cable to connect the two. Specs, for those interested: * AMD Phenom 9550 4 core processor * 4GB RAM * NO INTERNAL DISK * CD/DVD reader/writer * AMD Radeon X1200 onboard graphics * AMD Radeon HD7450 additional graphics card * USB, audio and card readers on the front panel * 4 more USB, Ethernet, and VGA & HDMI ports on the back * 500W PSU

Computer keyboard with PS/2 connector (Chesham HP5)
Withdrawn
This is the old style of connector, before everything became USB connectors. If you have a very old computer, it may have connectors for this. It can be converted to USB easily (search on eBay for "PS/2 to USB adapter" - they're £2-£3.)

Don't throw away your Windows 10 computer! (Chesham HP5)
Windows 10 support from Microsoft ended in October and they are encouraging people to throw away any machine which can't be upgraded to Windows 11 (which is a lot of them!) and buy a new one. This will only contribute to the rapidly growing mountain of unnecessarily wasted electrical equipment. So, if you do decide to replace your Windows 10 machine, please don't throw the old one away - many can be converted to run Linux and carry on being useful for many years. Please let me know and if it is feasible to run Linux on them I'm happy to help do that and put the machines back on Freegle for anyone needing one. Regards, Steve

Free:
Self-balancing 2 wheel scooter/hoverboard (broken) (Chesham HP5)
Gifted
If it worked, you could stand on this unlikely looking sideways scooter (like in the third picture) and steer it around by shifting your weight about. But the battery has died and would need to be replaced. Also missing the charger, so you'd need a charger for 36V scooters with the appropriate plug. Or it may be of interest to an electronics enthusiast for parts or repair. Let me know if you'd like it. Steve
