Free: Grip strips for wooden decking (Chesham HP5) Gifted When decking gets wet, it can be very slippery. Solution - glue these grip strips into the grooves of the decking planks. About 15m of strip remaining.

Free: Car emergency warning lights (Chesham HP5) These lamps can be a white strip light, or a white torch, and a flashing red light or a flashing amber and red light. Battery powered or can plug in to the cirgar lighter outlet. Two available - please say if you want one or both.

Free: Doorbell (Chesham HP5) Gives the classic "ding-dong" sound by purely mechanical means - no electronics, just a couple of chime bars and an electromagnet. Needs four batteries and a wire to the bell push button.

Free: Water pump from central heating system (Chesham HP5) This pump was extracted from a defunct gas boiler but is still fully working. It pumped the water round my radiators and central heating system, but may be useful for a garden water feature or other project.

Request: Don't throw away your Windows 10 computer! (Chesham HP5) Windows 10 support from Microsoft ends in October and they are encouraging people to throw away any machine which can't be upgraded to Windows 11 (which is a lot of them!) and buy a new one. This will only contribute to the rapidly growing mountain of unnecessarily wasted electrical equipment. So, if you do decide to replace your Windows 10 machine, please don't throw the old one away - many can be converted to run Linux and carry on being useful for many years. Please let me know and if it is feasible to run Linux on them I'm happy to help do that and put the machines back on Freegle for anyone needing one. Regards, Steve

Free: Two new bags of cement (Chesham HP5) Gifted Two new and unopened bags of cement, surplus to requirements. They're quite heavy - 25kg I guess - so please bear that in mind when collecting!

Free: Cast iron rainwater downpipe (Chesham HP5) Withdrawn 3 sections of cast iron downpipe, with integral brackets, and the wiggly bend that goes at the top. Two sections are 6 feet long (not 2m!) and one section a little over 3 feet. One of the 6' sections is cracked at the top - see pictures. All a bit rusty, but still pretty solid (except the cracked bit, of course!).

Free: Set of imperial weights (1lb, 8oz, 4oz, 2oz) (Chesham HP5) Gifted A bit rusty but could be cleaned up and used as curiosities, or a useful aid in teaching the value of a base 16 numbering system :-)

Free: Self-balancing 2 wheel scooter/hoverboard (broken) (Chesham HP5) Gifted If it worked, you could stand on this unlikely looking sideways scooter (like in the third picture) and steer it around by shifting your weight about. But the battery has died and would need to be replaced. Also missing the charger, so you'd need a charger for 36V scooters with the appropriate plug. Or it may be of interest to an electronics enthusiast for parts or repair. Let me know if you'd like it. Steve

Free: Digital photo frame (Chesham HP5) Gifted 7" digital photo frame, with 3 interchangeable frames (white, black or wood effect). Inc. mains adapter (not batteries) and adjustable "foot" to hold it at various angles, or can be hung from hooks. Takes USB sticks or standard SD memory card (not microSD). No manual, I'm afraid. Request: Bluetooth selfie stick (even if broken!) (Chesham HP5) Expired Does anyone have an old bluetooth selfie stick they don't want? Request: Cat tree (Chesham HP5) Received We're just about to be fostering two large cats, seen here trying to stop their owner from leaving! They're house cats, so used to living indoors, but they really need things to climb on and (most importantly) scratch. I'd rather that wasn't my furniture or walls! Free: Cuprinol Fence sprayer (Chesham HP5) Gifted Pump-up fence paint sprayer. Basically, you pour in the paint (must be sprayable paint - it's a bit thinner), pump it up until the safety valve shows green, then spray away! Cleaned and checked working.
