People of the Lakes by K. & M. Gear (south sunnyvale)

Wonderful and exciting book about early man in North America -- the Hopewell civilizations of middle America from Mississippi River to Great Lakes to Niagara Falls. it took me about 80 pages in to get into the characters but now that i've finished it i miss them! eager to start another one of this husband / wife author team's books about early peoples of the North American contiinent. it's a long read -- 788 pages -- but worth it.
