My good friend lives in a caravan that I acquired for him when he was suddenly made homeless. His landlord kicked everyone out so he could rent them out for more money.
The caravan is ancient with old glass windows, no proper electrics & no gas as it's unsafe, so no cooker, fridge or heat. No lights or ability to charge his phone. The front window was broken, then recently some kids put bricks through 2 others.
It's barely fit for purpose, the damp and cold issues during the winter were deadly and started to affect his health.
It really wasn't nice for him during the winter, but it was better than sofa surfing and sleeping outdoors in a tent. At the moment it's habitable because it's been dry.
If anyone can help him and has or sees a caravan been given away in the Nottingham or surrounding area, could you drop me a message please.
It's doesn't need to be anything special, just dry and modern enough that it has bubble windows.
Doesn't need to be a particularly good tow, won't be moving about much, if at all.
Ideally I want to find him something before the end of summer and the weather turns wet. Obviously, sooner the better.
Any help will be fantastic and well appreciated and would really be helping someone out.
