Hi, my friend's recently rescued 6 budgies from a house that was rented out, and the person who was living there left them in a very small cage, not suitable at all, with no perches, they just hung onto the sides.
A lot have had surgery due to fractures or breakages in their wings, also very nasty infections and issues with their feet.
We are looking for a bird cage that would be suitable for all 6 to live together, as they're currently living in pairs, in cages we are borrowing from the vets, but these are only temporary and the budgies really want to be back together.
I'm just wondering if anyone has a cage that's suitable.
We haven't a lot of money so preferably free.
I've added photos of what the vet has recommended to my friend.
If anyone is able to help in any way we'd massively appreciate it.
