My lovely lodger is going up to Scotland on holiday. He's off on Sunday, and intends to climb Ben Nevis. His budget is £400 for the whole holiday.
I'm trying to help him - and make sure he doesn't succumb to hypothermia...
He can't afford waterproof hiking boots. Does anyone have a pair that he can borrow till 15th? He's a size 9, so I assume that he'd need a size 10 boot.
Similarly, he doesn't own proper hiking trousers [I've forbidden him to wear denim on that climb]. He's a 34" waist, 32" inside leg. Does anyone have some he could borrow?
If yes, to either, please contact me URGENTLY!!
