slow cooking hot plate (Hillfields BS16)

Looks like a hot plate but the label says 'slow cooker'.

When you plug it in and turn the switch on, the light comes on and the plate gets warm. I didn't wait to see how hot it gets because I didn't want to burn myself!

So it works and could be used as an electric hot plate, but probably only for slow cooking/low heat purposes.
