Lot of various Linux operating system discs. (Top Amersham HP6)
As Microsoft is now getting as silly as Apple in terms of restrictive OS upgrades this is a good time to try a Linux OS instead. Here are two lots of assorted 64- and 32-bit versions. Each lot includes (among others) Zorin, Puppy (works on very old PCs!) and the popular Windows replacement Linux Mint. I've bundled them in two similar lots for two takers to avoid too many version duplicates etc. Most if not all will run directly from the disc, so you can try them without installing. These are all older versions, but are handy for checking the different systems out - you can always get the latest versions online (all free!). NB These are best suited to reasonably knowledgeable users, I can't guarantee that any individual version will work for you and I can't offer subsequent advice! If all else fails such discs make excellent and harmless garden bird scarers when suspended from pieces of thread. : )
