Fresh install of Linux Mint 22.2 long term support free operating system. This computer was donated by another kind Freegler when they bought a new laptop. It arrived with me with no operating system at all as they had it wiped clean for security purposes. I have installed Linux Mint on it to give it a new lease of life. It was last running Windows 10 which is now discontinued, but cannot be upgraded to 11, so Linux is the best option to keep this lovely laptop running.

Features: 15" wide display screen, 8gb RAM, massive 2 terabyte (2000gb) hard disk, AMD A8 CPU, DVD drive and B&O speakers. Keyboard is compact, wide with a numeric keypad. Trackpad works. MAIN BATTERY NEEDS REPLACING. Includes mains power supply. Signs of cosmetic wear and tear, a few minor cracks to the casing but nothing that affects use.

This computer is suitable for web browsing, word processing and spreadsheets, but it's NOT A GAMING PC, though you can run most free Linux based games on it - installable from the Linux Mint software manager (like an app store).
