Wooden bed frame, antique, double, with mattress (Frogmore GU17)

This wooden bed frame is a genuine antique, we think Edwardian or Arts and Crafts from the style(?) It has a brass plaque on the headboard engraved with 'Arthur Newbery Ltd. Home Furnishings, Reading'. The base is a type of metal mesh (see photos), which is in good condition and rolls up for easy transport. It was originally made to take a featherbed mattress, but my husband lengthened the side rails so it would take a standard modern small double mattress.

The frame has been dismantled into 6 pieces, and comes with a set of optional casters (which we didn't use). It is easy to put back together.

The mattress is a modern 'Airsprung Classic', and virtually unused.

This is a good solid small and comfortable double bed.
From a pet and smoke-free home, with no damp issues, so the bed and mattress are both in very good clean condition.
