Mountfield Empress petrol lawnmower (Pittville GL50)

Mountfield Empress self-propelled lawnmower with grass-box. Has rear roller for stripes. Briggs & Stratton 4HP Quantum engine. On-board battery for self-starting is rather tired and will need to be replaced if self-starting is needed. Starts OK 1st or 2nd pull of the cord. Tickover poor, probably needs the air filter cleaned to fix the mixture, but runs OK on full throttle. Drive belt for rear roller is getting slack, could do with tightening or replacing. Has given me 34 years of faithful service since purchased new for £526, and still cutting our lawn satisfactorily - but we have decided to switch to an electric machine so this one is now surplus to requirements.
