Google says:
"This is a vintage, analog, miniature receiver that was released in 1989.
It is a 9-band receiver that includes FM, MW (AM), and shortwave (SW) bands.
The radio is designed for portability and is powered by batteries.
The shortwave bands allow users to listen to international broadcasts.
The radio uses a double-conversion principle and has an analogue tuning dial."
The aerial has snapped but I think you can easily get a replacement, or jam the two bits together, or use a bit of wire. Works fine as it is.
