Intempo "Internet radio" (Chorlton M21)
Gifted
This was an internet radio, but the service that let you find internet radio stations has closed down and the only ones you can listen to are the three BBC stations I happened to have saved when I found out. How it works: you connect it to your own network (via wifi or ethernet cable) and it will play the radio stations it knows about. You can also play any music stored on a "UPNP server" connected to your network, for example a windows computer, or a network storage device. And you can play music from a device that you plug into the USB port on the front. I think the sound is good for a small box like this, but we're moving and there's not room for everything to come with us. Collect from Chorlton, M21

Step ladder with extensions (Chorlton M21)
Gifted
The extensions allow you to use them on stairs (you can make one arm longer than the other) Create a platform for working at height. The second picture shows the extension legs and the platform, and the brackets for securing the platform to both the steps and platform. The third shows the safety label which tells you what configurations are ok and which aren’t. (You can unfold the steps into a single long ladder, but mustn’t try to use the extension to make a three-piece.) Steel. You’ll need a vehicle to collect it The rubber feet from the main ladder have gone astray so floors may need protection.

OLD Freeview recorder - needs new HDD (Chorlton M21)
Gifted
This is an old DigiFusion FVRT150 - look it up and you'll get an idea of how old it is. Its HDD has failed. You need an 80 - 120 IDE HDD replacement. You can get one from eBay for under £10. You'll also need a 12V/ 5A power supply. But read to the end of this post. Why you might want to do this: It's a Freeview "set-top" box that can pause/rewind the programme you're watching, and record for later viewing. It came with an 80GB 3.5" drive but I replaced it with a 2.5" 160GB laptop drive, which is quieter and uses less power. (The original power supply couldn't manage the demands of the 3.5" HDD.) The FVRT150 can only use 120GB, but that doesn't matter. I had to get an adapter to fit the 2.5" drive. I'll leave it in the machine. You can also do things like adjust the start and end time of the recording, so not limited to the scheduled times, and edit recordings you've made by trimming the start and end. We got a BT Youview box to replace the Digifusion and I was disappointed not to have those options. Why not: We stopped using it when whoever was providing the 14(!) day electronic programme guide killed the service and we were left with only the current day's programmes: that is you could tune to what is on now or set a programme later in the same day to record, but not further ahead than that. Shame. Also it's Freeview only - no internet link or catch-up. If you want to see the enthusiasm people had for these machines, look for the DigiFusion discussions on DigitalSpy. It would be a pity to scrap it if anyone could make use of it, but off to the tip if no response in a week. Collect from Chorlton M21
