2 small Eurohike backpacks. The one on the left of the picture is slightly larger. You can just get an A4 ringbinder to fit in the smaller of the two.
These have been well used over many years, so are NOT reliably waterproof any more. My mum replaced the main zip on the larger one. They are great for short trips (such as a quick shopping trip), but not all that comfortable if you want to carry them for a longer time.
Take one or both.
