Fuchsia magellanica (2) - rather boisterous small flowered variegated foliage. Flowers profusely for 2 or more autumn months. Can be kept reasonable (1.5m x 1m ht.) size by cutting down to 6” after flowering. Prune non-variegated shoots.
Ajuga reptans “Braunherz” and “Burgundy Glow” (lots of bits) Great ground cover between shrubs etc. Spreads enthusiastically by runners. Cheery blue flower spikes in spring and sometimes at random times. Derivative of wayside flower bugle. Very tough perennial.
Lamium maculatum “Purple Dragon” - an oustanding creeping ground cover with silvery leaves and deep purple flowers. Quick spreader. Will even grow in shade or semi shade. Derivative of deadnettle.
