6-foot pole (Crestwood, NW DC)

I’m mounting an anemometer (wind meter) on our roof and need a 6’ pole (or longer) to mount it on. Could be PVC, a metal tube or pipe, or wood dowel. Probably needs to be at least 1” diameter. If anyone has something like this sitting around gathering dust, I’d be delighted to take it off your hands. Thanks for considering.
