Apple 13" Macbook, a few years old, but running really well on Linux Lite Operating Syatem.
As its name suggests, it's a lightweight system, requiring far fewer resources than modern Windows, but giving really good perfomance on older machines. It includes a whole lot of useful software (see photo), making it an excellent machine for everyday computer tasks - Office, Internet, Youtube, Emails, Music, Videos etc.
It has Wifi, a load of help and advice built in and there is lots of free software available online.
It has good battery life and comes with a charger
