This is an M Class extractor, suitable for working with softwood dust, but also fine dust from sanding oak or MDF. It is not suitable for use with hazardous materials like asbestos or silica.

It is powerful, but also quite noisy, especially the filter cleaning feature which automatically bangs the filter to reduce clogging. This feature can be disabled.
