I bought this odd-looking thing about forty years ago, when bedpans and chamber pots seemed like trendy things to stand a house-plant in...
It is white-glazed ceramic, and is about 35cm long and about 18cm wide.
I have no idea how old it actually is, but it has a distinctly hand-made, slightly lumpy appearance in my opinion, and certainly no manufacturer's stamp.
I want to emphasise that during my ownership the ONLY thing it has had in it was an occasional house-plant! I am therefore unable to vouch for its suitability for its original intended function...
