Otedama pincushion/ornament/toy (West Croydon CR0)

Hand-embroidered, hand-sewn "otedama" style pincushion — could be used as a pincushion or an ornament, or even a kid’s toy. The base fabric is non-cotton (maybe polyester?) Aida and it’s embroidered with purple cotton thread. About 5cm in diameter.

I made this as an exercise while working through a maths/sashiko book (“A Stitch In Line” by Katherine Seaton, highly recommended) and have enjoyed having it sitting on my mantelpiece for the past several months, but it’s time for a new mantelpiece display and I’d rather give this to someone else than just chuck it out.

Pick up between 9am and 5pm on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, or Saturday. Location is 3 minutes' walk from West Croydon Station. Priority given to people who are nearby, and who tell me in their first message exactly when (date and time) they want to come.
