Vacuum with broken handle (Maple Leaf)

You know that old beater Corolla that you wish would just die already so you can justify getting a new car? That's this vacuum.

I think it's going on 20 years now, multiple belt changes and beater detanglings, some duct tape to fix bits of cheap plastic housing, and the thing still works great. Ugh.

The handle finally broke off. I've been using it without a handle and thinking about how to carve up a 2x4 to replace it. Then I sliced my hand open on the broken plastic and came into a new old vacuum at the same time. Ha!

I'm currently hunting down a screwdriver to remove the sharp bit, and I'll empty the canister and wipe it down. I may be able to find some of the attachments and a replacement filter, but no guarantees.
