Up lighter lamp and reading light (Merchiston EH10)

Two identical 6 foot high free standing lamps with reading lights. Both broken. Reading lights work on both. Uplights stopped working and are both non-functional. I’ve tried to fix both but failed. One uplighter completely broken after my efforts to repair. If someone has the electrical skills then the other is potentially repairable if the electrical fault can be identified and repaired. Both lamps about 20 years old from Ikea. If any wants the one with uplight that is potentially repairable only or both for spares then you’re welcome to.
