More than a decade old, this Cuisinart DLC-7 is in working order. The base unit does its work as powerfully as it has from day one. Comes with seven blades (some duplicates).

There is one issue with the set. We made the error of trying to grind cinnamon sticks in it. Don't ever do that! It destroyed the bowl. Shopped for a genuine Cuisinart replacement. However, the new bowl didn't fit exactly. It takes two of us to get it to lock in correctly. Once it is locked in, this entire unit works just fine. When it comes to cleaning up -- it takes two of us to get the bowl unlocked. Damn! But maybe you are handy with plastic bowls or don't mind pounding the bowl with the palm of your hand to get it into place.

If you happen to have a DLC-7 with a broken base unit, this will do you right away. And you get extra blades. If you already have a Cuisinart, you can use this as a ready parts source. Anyway, let me know if you want the set.
