This Fjällarnika quilt was my adult son's, till I bought him a new one for Christmas. Still has a few stubborn stains, despite *multiple* trips through the washing machine.
But its major flaw – the reason it needed replacing, and is now being disposed of – is that for some reason, most of the feather filling has migrated to the quilt edges ... leaving the centre almost flat and empty.
I'm not sure how to fix that issue – short of unpicking all the stitches; redistributing the feathers along more equitable lines; and then sewing all the seams back again!
But if you can fix it, it's yours.
