Perfect for making the 40 pint kits which are still available online, or from specialist shops. (There was a shop in Dunmow, and one in Bury St Edmunds, at one stage - can't be sure they are still there though). Boots used to sell the kits too, and there are LOADS on Ebay..
I've made probably thousands of pints using this vessel over the years, but not for a while - mainly in my 20s and 30s. Coupled with a homebrew pressure barrel (on Ebay too), this will give you lots of excellent and varied beer from about 40p per pint. What's not to like!
