A vintage but brand new and solidly built Fujitsu Mustek 1200CP flatbed scanner. Fujitsu are one of the best manufacturers of this sort of tech.

I got it on Ebay on the off chance, but, in hindsight, should have asked more questions as I've now found it is not compatible with my Linux OS. The user manual is Windows 95 & 98 focussed, which means it should work on anyone running up to Windows XP (and possibly beyond) - but I can't guarantee that. You'll have to do your own research as to what is compatible. The guy who sold it to me has burnt a CD with the Windows drivers and installation files on it, but I can't test it as I don't use Windows!

It comes with a non-UK 2 pin power supply, but 3 pin to 2 pin adapters are easily and cheaply available. Replacement 12V - (minimum) 800mA UK 3 pin power supplies can also be purchased on Ebay for about a tenner.
