Singer "247" Sewing Machine (Highbury N5)

I was given this by a Freecycler a couple of years ago.

It was locked solid so I gave it a good clean and lubricated it with sewing machine oil.

It seems to work fine, but doesn't seem to run as fast as modern machines - it might be a problem with the pedal (which are prone to deterioration but can be adjusted) or it might be fine and I'm talking out of my hat.
I am no expert by any means - if it was a motorbike I'd have it running perfectly.

It has no carry case but comes with a dust cover.

There's a box with spare bobbins in that I think fit but can't guarantee and a couple of handy screwdrivers.

Please be aware that it is VERY heavy. 13.4Kg !

Parking is available and free next to the pick up location which is Highbury Terrace, N5 1UP Please don't turn up on a bicycle!
It's available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday - not at the weekend.
