Bromeliad - Aechmea chantinii (islington N1)

I bought a bromeliad a few years ago and it had a beautiful flower. I have never been able to get it to flower again, so I am happy to give it away to someone who is good at getting these plants to flower. Please do not ask for a photo, as it is possible to see online how these plants look.
