This router works on both older-style "ADSL" and newer-style "VDSL" broadband connections. But its maximum wired throughput is 100 Mbps (despite it describing itself as a "300 Mbps" router). So if your broadband is 100 Mbps or less, this should work just fine for you.
It's in perfect working order, I'm only getting rid of it because I upgraded my connection speed.
I've restored factory settings.
