Probably dates somewhere between 30s and 50s. It used to belong to my parents-in-law but the original mains movement had failed - so I popped a smooth-sweep quartz movement in it for them many years back. The quartz movement is a tiny bit more audible than you can get these days, so if you want it silent, a new movement can be had for under a tenner from ebay. New battery just fitted. Bakelite is in good condition with no significant chips - so it's a nice looking clock if you happen to have house from that period.
Located near LIDL in Knaresborough.
