Free: Small gloss white aluminium Venetian blind 500mm H x 550mm W (Knaresborough HG5) Withdrawn Overall height from top of rail to the bottom of the blind is 500mm, width is around 550mm, and slats are 15mm. It is in very good clean condition with no kinks in the slats, and the cords are nice and clean too. Includes mounting brackets. Made by 247blinds. Located near LIDL in Knaresborough.

Free: New BLACKOUT roller blind in a silver/light grey colour (Knaresborough HG5) Gifted We ordered a blind from 247Blinds a couple of weeks back, and they messed up and made the blind out of the wrong material and colour on the first attempt (how they managed to get both wrong is beyond me!). They have made a replacement correctly, and they don't want this incorrect one back and it is no use to us. It is too good to just chuck away. It was made to fit in a window reveal precisely 119.5 cm wide with a 103 cm drop. It is possible to cut the blind narrower if you're handy with scissors/stanley knife and a hack saw, as the roller mechanism will unplug from its aluminium tube. It is also possible with the supplied brackets to surface mount it across a window reveal too. I've tried to picture the colour as best I can. It is a mottled silver/light grey. Note that this is a BLACKOUT material so will not let any light through at all. Located near LIDL in Knaresborough.

Free: BAL White Star tile adhesive 10L tub, partly used (Knaresborough HG5) Expired A part used tub (see photo) of BAL White Star, which is their premium ready mixed tile adhesive. I have just finished the tiling it was bought for, but note that it will need to be used relatively quicky given it has been opened. Located near LIDL in Knaresborough.

Free: Green fabric/chrome meeting room/reception type chair (Knaresborough HG5) Gifted I picked this up cheap from a used office furniture store a few months back, for a relative to use in their home office after a hip fracture, as it was safer than their castored office chair and has arms so it was easier to get out of. Now no longer needed. The chrome frame is in very good condition. The fabric is a little faded towards the top of the chair, and the green is a bit darker when you see it, than it looks in the photos. However, the fabric is clean and free of marks as I shampooed it when we first got it. BS standards label present underneath. Located near LIDL in Knaresborough, and I'd like to re-home it fairly quickly.

Free: 3 seat sofa support board to firm up a sofa (Knaresborough HG5) Gifted These things go under sofa cushions to provide a firmer and more supportive feel, OR deal with a sofa whose springing has started to soften over the years. It consists of 15 boards (90mm x 470mm) which concertina out within a vinyl cover. When folded out fully, it is 1.5M wide. This one came from a smoke/pet free home and was previously used on a three seat sofa. It could be cut down to fit something narrower. Located near LIDL in Knaresborough.

Free: Canon MG8150 colour photo printer/copier/scanner (Knaresborough HG5) Gifted My trusty old Canon MG8150 photo printer in very good condition. This has a six cartridge system so delivers very good quality photo prints esp. on Canon photo papers. It is an auto-duplex machine, for hassle free two-sided printing which is why its bigger than most home printers of that era. 370mm deep, 200mm high, 470mm wide approx. Most of these types of printers end up scrapped because the umpteen specially shaped felt pads in the base of the printer eventually fill up with waste ink from head cleaning, and the felt pad kits are no longer available. This one hit that point around a year ago but it has been such a good printer, I stripped it down, washed the felt pads out and dried them, reset the ink-absorber clock, and its good to go for a few more years. I don't do much photo printing these days so time to find it a new home. USB, Ethernet, Wifi connectivity. Rear folding document feeder for labels, photo papers etc. A4 paper bin underneath the front. Output tray at the front automatically opens when you send a print job to it. There are genuine Canon ink cartridges in it with levels as shown, but cyan/magenta will need replacing soon. It has only ever been run on genuine cartridges. There is also an adapter that allows you to print directly onto printable CDs/DVDs. Located near LIDL in Knaresborough.

Free: Work watch? Radio controlled, solar. Pretty scruffy! (Knaresborough HG5) Gifted This is an old Casio watch of mine that has been used in recent years for all those sorts of jobs you wouldn't want to wear a decent watch to do. As you can see, there is plating that has peeled off, and a few scratches, but it does have some redeeming features for anyone else who needs something they can happily neglect. It is solar powered so no battery to change. It is radio controlled so keeps perfect time and adjusts itself to daylight savings time. Water resistant to 100M, and as the back has never been off it due to it being solar, it might still be. Backlight. Day/date Booklet and spare strap links included. Request: 50cm x 37cm offcut rigid/galvanised/welded 13mm sq mesh (Knaresborough HG5) Expired Just wondered if anyone happened to have an offcut of strong rigid (i.e. supplied as a flat panel, as distinct from the thinner gauge stuff that comes in rolls), welded and galvanised mesh going spare, similar to the type pictured? Holes of 13mm (1/2 inch) square. Happy to bring a pair of tin-snips and cut a piece out if you have a larger sheet. Just re-designing our bird feeder to keep our garden free of pigeons and squirrels :) Thanks!

Free: Sub-0-G ultra light roller suitcase (Knaresborough HG5) Gifted This is an extremely light suitcase (Sub-0-G brand) - you can lift it up with one finger. It is about 11 years old and condition is generally good, but there are some scuffs on the fabric on the sides (where the handle tubes go up the insides), and some other scrapes and marks. But it's presentable and useable. The retracting handle is full width. Capacity is 16 inch wide x 9 inch deep x 26 inch high. Two front zip compartments, four internal pockets. I bought it when I was working down in London Mon-Fri at the time, and I wanted something really light so I could lug it around easily on trains and the underground, but it doesn't get used now. Note that this is NOT suitable for airline travel in my opinion - it simply isn't strong enough and the feet at the front are way too vulnerable and will likely be ripped off if you use it for that purpose, and the wheels are a bit small and vulnerable too. I seem to recall reviews at the time made the same observation. Located near LIDL in Knaresborough.

Free: 100% wool striped rug 150cm x 240cm (8 x 5ft) - but faded! (Knaresborough HG5) Gifted This is a 100% wool thick pile large striped rug (bought from Barker and Stonehouse originally) - but it has been in our sun room for over a decade with a low coffee table on it, so the centre area is unfaded, but the rest of it has faded quite a bit. Free: Interlocking EVA foam tiles x 2 with some edging pieces (Knaresborough HG5) Gifted Couple of EVA foam tiles. There is almost a complete set of edging pieces bar one corner as shown in the second photo. These look similar to Argos 158/7247 but not sure if they are compatible with that set. These two make a mat 65cm x 125cm including the edging pieces, and about 10mm thick. They are mainly used as play mats - but they are also comfy to stand on, so I have something similar in my garage in front of my work bench.

Free: Sheet of soft waterproof blue EVA foam (Knaresborough HG5) Gifted 158mm x 102mm x 5mm. Note this has four holes cut through as circled in the photo. It is a closed-cell foam so water just sits on it - it doesn't absorb water. Might be useful for packaging or something?
