Free: Vintage bakelite Smiths electric clock - battery converted (Knaresborough HG5) Gifted Probably dates somewhere between 30s and 50s. It used to belong to my parents-in-law but the original mains movement had failed - so I popped a smooth-sweep quartz movement in it for them many years back. The quartz movement is a tiny bit more audible than you can get these days, so if you want it silent, a new movement can be had for under a tenner from ebay. New battery just fitted. Bakelite is in good condition with no significant chips - so it's a nice looking clock if you happen to have house from that period. Located near LIDL in Knaresborough.

Free: Rapitest DM25 multi-meter (Knaresborough HG5) Gifted I'm helping out with a house clearance and this is up for grabs. I've checked the battery and it isn't leaking but ought to be changed as I have no idea how old it is. I've done a quick test of some of the functions and it seems to be working fine. Obviously been well used with a few marks and scuffs around it. Located near LIDL in Knaresborough.

Free: Sony DVD/CD player (Knaresborough HG5) Gifted Helping out with a house clearance and this is up for grabs. It is an old Sony DVP-NS305 c/w manual and remote. The batteries in the remote were starting to leak very slightly but I've cleaned that up with electrical contact cleaner and fitted new batteries. It does have some scrapes and marks on the lid that won't come off, but otherwise seems to be working fine when I tested it. These struggle to make much money s/h, so this is going free to a good home. You'll need a SCART lead for it, or a red/white/yellow RCA phono cable as there is no HDMI port on it. Free: EXPO model engineers drill 12V (Knaresborough HG5) Gifted This is an EXPO brand model engineers drill (also handy for drilling printed circuit boards), made in England and in working condition. Used for drills below around 3mm. There is no power supply for it so you'll need to sort one out - and a variable speed controller is useful for these as it's a bit too fast at full speed for really fine work. Pulls about 0.4A @12V when running. Located near LIDL in Knaresborough.

Free: 9x large stacking storage bins for shed/garage/workshop (Knaresborough HG5) Gifted These need a really good clean up (I have hosed them down to get the worst of the muck off), but there are still sticky labels, bits of paint etc. Note that they are probably only suitable for stacking because someone has cut vertical slots in either left or right hand front corner as shown in the second photo and this might result in them cracking if they are hung from storage bin louvre panel without being fully supported beneath. I suspect this was maybe to get them onto sheving with metal angle uprights. Dimensions roughly as follows: Internal - 16 inch wide x 10 inch deep x 5 inch height, with a roughly 3 inch height opening when stacked External - 18 inch wide x 12 inch deep There are no divider panels. There are no additional pockets for accessories. This was supplied in a roller suitcase and that is what it is really for - to protect a laptop or tablet inside another bag/case when travelling.
