Free: Perching/saddle/treatment/salon stood 53-72cm gas lift (Knaresborough HG5) Gifted As shown. There are some surface marks on the aluminium base as circled in red. I've had a quick go with some Solvol Autosol and that didn't shift it, nor did a quick go with a Dremel polishing tool/polish - so it likely needs some very fine wet and dry and then re-finishing if it bothers whoever wants it. The gas lift seems to be fine - and the saddle tilts back and forth on a separate locking lever. 53-72cm height adjustment measured from floor to the centre of the saddle seat, with no weight on - so should suit most people. Padded PVC seat in very good condition with no tears or marks. Located near LIDL in Knaresborough.

Free: Veneered four drawer filing cabinet (Wetherby LS22) Gifted As shown. Re-homing this for a friend of mine who lives on the Spofforth/Harrogate side of Wetherby. 131 cm High x 47 cm Wide x 64 cm Deep It has some small/minor little marks down the left hand side where things have been stored against it. The aluminium finger strips of the drawers tend to rub the surface finish off the inside edges - as you can see in the photo circled in red. Dab of wood strain should sort both issues out if they bother you. Note that there are no suspension files with it. It is currently missing its keys but I have a couple of replacements on order and these should arrive W/C 20th. This is quite a heavy item even with the drawers removed - so it will need two people to collect it. It has been repositioned into the hall from its original location so its just a few feet out the front door door and into a vehicle (no parking issues). Please DO NOT ask for this if you don't have the means to transport it, or a second person to help lift it.

Free: Daler No 250 artists easel (Knaresborough HG5) Gifted Knocking on a bit but still serviceable. It has had one running repair and that was due to damage to the top securing point for the canvas where I made a spring loaded aluminium clamp to replace the original plastic one which had broken. Free: Vintage wooden 16 inch block plane (Knaresborough HG5) Expired This is a 16inch vintage wooden block plane. It is stamped on one end with the marks of CT Skelton & Co Sheffield, and also stamped with G P Preston & Sons of Sheffield. Manufacturer and dealer respectively? - I'm not sure as it isn't my field. Blade is surface rusted and there are some paint marks and dings. These only fetch a few quid online as they are still quite common and tool collecting is a bit niche, so not worth me selling really. Note this will need a fairly fine saw blade as the guide gap is about 0.7mm wide and not adjustable. It is in fairly good condition but could do with a bit of cleaning up. Free: Vintage bakelite Smiths electric clock - battery converted (Knaresborough HG5) Gifted Probably dates somewhere between 30s and 50s. It used to belong to my parents-in-law but the original mains movement had failed - so I popped a smooth-sweep quartz movement in it for them many years back. The quartz movement is a tiny bit more audible than you can get these days, so if you want it silent, a new movement can be had for under a tenner from ebay. New battery just fitted. Bakelite is in good condition with no significant chips - so it's a nice looking clock if you happen to have house from that period. Located near LIDL in Knaresborough.

Free: Sony DVD/CD player (Knaresborough HG5) Gifted Helping out with a house clearance and this is up for grabs. It is an old Sony DVP-NS305 c/w manual and remote. The batteries in the remote were starting to leak very slightly but I've cleaned that up with electrical contact cleaner and fitted new batteries. It does have some scrapes and marks on the lid that won't come off, but otherwise seems to be working fine when I tested it. These struggle to make much money s/h, so this is going free to a good home. You'll need a SCART lead for it, or a red/white/yellow RCA phono cable as there is no HDMI port on it.
