Piece of timber to make a spindle (Chingford E4)

Hi there. I need to replace a handrail spindle. It is softwood. The wood needs to be 38 cm x 38 cm minimum and 74 cm minimum length. If you have a spare piece or even better 2 pieces (to allow for error in shaping it) I'd very much appreciate it.
