Red Double Sockets + Switch (Wigmore ME8)

Next item from the great garage clear-out: 11 red double / 2-gang plug sockets, plus 1 matching red double light switch.

These were originally chosen by my late mum for our old house. I loved her dearly and miss her very much, but it has to be said — some of her interior design choices were, shall we say, bold. These sockets are definitely from the “why have plain white when you can make a statement?” school of decorating.

They were later replaced with more traditional white ones, and have been sitting in storage for years since. As a result, they are used and grubby, so they’ll need a good clean. I have not tested them, so please assume they should be checked by someone competent before use.

Ideal for a workshop, garage, quirky décor project, theatrical set, man cave, retro room, or anyone brave enough to bring red sockets back into fashion.
