Free: Wooden Bear Baby Walker (Wigmore ME8) A classic wooden bear baby walker, complete with bead maze puzzle on top — currently in “minor glue-based restoration” condition. The maze is slightly broken, but nothing a bit of wood glue and mild determination couldn’t sort in an afternoon. Fix it. Glue it. Play with it. Have fun with it. Perfect little project for the grown-up who fancies a bit of woodwork while the little ones happily occupy themselves with screens. Win-win. Solid and sturdy overall — just needs a touch of TLC on the puzzle top. Available until Sunday — or I may just have to tidy it up and list it elsewhere (no tip threats here… just entrepreneurial instincts) 😜 Collection from Wigmore (ME8).

Free: Large box of cardboard packaging (Wigmore ME8) Gifted Got a big box of shredded cardboard here — you know the stuff. Springy, crinkly, brown, and surprisingly satisfying to plunge your hand into. It's not the fancy honeycomb kind or those little styrofoam peanuts. Just good honest cardboard boxes that have been shredded into curly, springy strips and crammed into a bigger cardboard box. Humble, but useful Perfect for packing fragile items for storage or moving, lining a pet bed for a rabbit, guinea pig or chicken (they LOVE this stuff), mulching around plants in the garden, keeping draughts out of a gap somewhere, or — and I cannot stress this enough — giving to a child or a cat and watching them go absolutely feral with joy. Completely free, completely cardboard, and waiting patiently in my hallway looking slightly embarrassed about how much space it's taking up.

Free: Wooden Activity Cube & Blocks Set (Wigmore ME8) Gifted Wooden 5-in-1 Activity Cube + Bonus Melissa & Doug Blocks Set A big, bright, chunky wooden activity cube that's kept many a toddler busy — and if we're being honest, more than a few adults too! Five sides of entertainment: - Bead wire maze on top — the classic looping wire tracks with shapes to slide around - Xylophone — rainbow keys down one side, for the budding musician (or just someone who likes making noise) - Abacus — rows of colourful beads, because apparently counting is fun - Wooden sliding maze — carved groove tracks with coloured pegs to navigate - Whiteboard — a blank canvas for your little Picasso It's hollow inside too, so doubles up nicely as a toy box. But wait — it gets better. Nestled inside (and fitting rather satisfyingly) is a complete Melissa & Doug wooden alphabet and number blocks set, complete with its own pull-along cart. Letters, numbers, little pictures on every face — the full works. Good quality, full set, great condition. So what you're actually getting is a five-activity play cube and a premium blocks set. The activity cube shows its age a little — some paint wear on the corners and the whiteboard has lived a full life — but everything works, nothing is missing, and it's still a solid, colourful bit of kit. Take it by Sunday, or it's going on eBay. You know how this works by now!!

Free: Munchkin Caterpillar Stacking Cups (Wigmore ME8) Expired Does your little one love pouring water in the bath… and, let’s be honest, anywhere else they can reach? Then meet their new aquatic supervisor: the Munchkin Caterpillar Spillers. Seven colourful stacking cups that stack, scoop, strain, spill, pour, rinse, and repeat. Basically a starter kit for controlled chaos. All 7 cups present and accounted for, proudly numbered 1–7. According to the manufacturers, they help children learn to count. Ours can now count comfortably into double digits and is about to turn 15 — so we can only assume these performed beyond expectations. Bright colours, cheerful caterpillar face, and a little spinner on the last cup for added bath-time engineering experiments. Well loved but all here — they've just been quietly living in a cupboard for approximately a decade, waiting for their moment. That moment is now. Bonus features: • Excellent in the bath • Surprisingly competent at the beach • Sandpit-approved • Emergency plant pot drainage system • Tiny snack bowls if you’re feeling bold 💚 FREE because the earth has enough plastic — and frankly so do we. Come and give these a well-deserved second life! Collection only. Drop me a message!

This isn't some sad little poster tube – this is proper serious tube, right here. AND IT HAS BOTH PLASTIC END CAPS. I repeat: BOTH END CAPS. Not one. Not zero like some kind of amateur tube situation. TWO. The tube is COMPLETE. I'm not saying this tube will change your life, but I'm also not NOT saying that. Possible uses: - Sword fighting (you'll have reach advantage over anyone with a lesser tube) - Cat entertainment system (if you have a very patient cat and can roll it) - Didgeridoo cosplay - Speaking tube between floors of your house (Victorian communication technology is back, baby) - That one DIY project you saw on Pinterest at 2am - Storing your collection of smaller, less impressive tubes - Finally proving to your mates that you own something nearly 3 meters long - Actually sealing and protecting whatever you store in it (thanks to those ENDCAPS) - Actual practical storage for posters, fabric, wrapping paper, or your lightsaber blueprints Not suitable for: - Indoor javelin practice - Vaulting (it WILL collapse) - Compensation for anything This magnificent tube is free to anyone with a vehicle large enough to transport it, or the confidence to carry it home on public transport while everyone stares. Free: Spent Brewing Grain - 1.4kg (Wigmore ME8) Expired Fresh from today's beer brewing session, I have 1400g of spent grain looking for a purpose beyond my compost bin. For those unfamiliar: this is grain that's already given its sugars to become beer, but apparently it still has other talents. I just can't be bothered to explore them. Things the internet claims you can do with this: - Bake it into "healthy" bread (if you're into that sort of masochism) - Dry it out and make flour (see above re: effort levels) - Feed it to chickens (they allegedly love it) - Make dog treats (your dog's opinion may vary) - Add it to granola bars for "extra fiber" (sure, why not) - Compost it (my current plan if nobody wants it) What I know for certain: - It's wet - It smells like a brewery - It needs collecting today or tomorrow before it gets weird (I'll fridge it to try to prevent that) Free to anyone with more ambition than me, chickens, or a solid recipe they're willing to test. Must collect ASAP - this stuff doesn't age gracefully.

Free: Pre-Shredded Cardboard (packaging) (Wigmore ME8) Gifted I have 2 boxes of shredded cardboard strips that came as packing material. You know, that stuff that arrives protecting your online purchases and then you feel guilty throwing away because it seems too useful? Well, now it can be YOUR useful guilt! They've already done the hard work of being cardboard once, got shredded for their trouble, and are now ready for their second act. Think of them as the Cher of packing materials – they've reinvented themselves and they're ready to perform again. Perfect for: - Packing your fragile items (they cushion with EXPERIENCE) - Composting (worms love processed cardboard, it's like fast food for them) - Arts and crafts (if you're into that papier-mâché life - Pretending you run a professional shipping operation - Filling that awkward gap in a box when you've run out of bubble wrap Not suitable for: - Eating (I feel like I shouldn't have to say this, but here we are) - Building a house - Solving existential crises Free to anyone who can appreciate that one person's trash is another person's "ooh, free packing material!" Porch pickup available. Box included (it's cardboard holding cardboard – very meta).

Free: Bedside Drawers / Cabinets (Wigmore ME8) Gifted BEDSIDE DRAWERS - The Casualties of My Coffee Addiction! Rehoming these trusty bedside companions because I've upgraded to smaller ones (yes, also from Freecycle - the circle of life continues). Dimensions: 70cm high, 45cm wide, 46cm deep - basically, they're absolute units that dominated my bedroom like furniture bouncers. Full disclosure: One unit has developed what I call "character texture" from numerous morning coffee incidents. It's got a slightly bumpy surface that tells the story of every time I thought I could successfully place a mug down while half-asleep. Spoiler: I could not. It's barely noticeable and easily fixable with light sanding if you're the perfectionist type (unlike me, clearly). These drawers have served me well despite my caffeinated chaos. They deserve a home where they'll be appreciated, and ideally where the new owner has better hand-eye coordination before 9am. Collection from Wigmore ME8. Come give these giants a second chance at life!
