Extension cord, damaged (Rockville)

This is a 100-foot extension cord. The sheathing on one end is coming off, and the green ground wire is protruding in such a way that it's no longer easy to tape over with electrical tape. However, if you're handy with electrical work, you can cut off the plug and buy and connect a new one.

I'm not sure how old the cord is, but I've had it for quite some years now, and other than the wiring issue, it has been working.
