Cape Myrtle Tree (Palo Alto, near Cal Ave)

Tree is about 4' tall and in a temporary pot - temporary as in it should be planted in a larger pot or in ground ASAP. I have no idea what color the flowers are. It was planted by a realtor as part of staging for the house we bought. I do not fancy the plant. It should go somewhere it will be enjoyed.
