This is a very pretty hydrangea, I like lacecaps because I think that they are quite delicate. It is not ready to plant. I would grow it in a pot until it gets bigger. Don't transfer into a bigger pot wait a few weeks.
Hydrangeas like a semi shady spot, they will grow in the sun as long as they are not baked all day. Cuttings are always worthwhile because put them in and forget about it , keep doing it and soon you will have a lovely garden full of plants.
