skirt: flower or other pattern (south sunnyvale)

I'm looking for a skirt to sew onto a denim top to make a one-piece dress. denim is dark blue. i'm hoping the skirt fabric will have pattern: flowers, plaid, stripe, geometric/abstract. i'd like a darker background and lighter pattern, but i'm open to any colors and any style skirt: gathered or pleated waist, elastic waistband. if has zipper I'd probably take it out. also open to various lengths: long, maxi, midi.pics are for reference only. size is also open but no smaller than M.
