Two door knobs on their steel, square-profile, connecting bar. Both screws present. Functional.
The knobs appear to have been badly lacquered. There are some bits of paint on each end but I don't think the knobs themselves have been painted; more likely I think that somebody with paint on their hands touched the knobs. Apart from being a little scruffy they seem to be in good condition.
The bar is approximately 17/64ths, or just over 7mm in metric units, on each side.
I can't identify the material the knobs are made from; possibly some sort of phenolic or other resin. They are neither wood, nor ceramic.
Age unknown but based on my own extensive experience of twiddling door knobs, and the age of the house they came from, I'd guess they are 1910s to 1940s, so might appeal to somebody trying to recreate that era in their home.
