Pond pump (Kennington OX1)

Blagdon MP2000 pond pump, with fittings and box (guidance and instructions). Maximum pool volume is 3000 litres.
10 metre cable was mowed over and the earth wire plastic is cut but the wire is intact, at 3.5metres from the pump. The pump still works. Electrician friend has looked at it and said it can be repaired, refitted back to that point or replaced. I’d rather pass this to someone more confident of repair here.
