Request: Vacuum cleaner (Kennington OX1) Ideally cordless. Working please. I am asking on behalf of a Ukrainian Gran that I volunteer alongside. Feel a bit silly because I collected one this morning (via Facebook), but after emptying it, cleaning it and charging it, it wheezes for 3 seconds and stops. Have you replaced your one and have the old one available please? Can collect today or tomorrow or after work in the week.

Free: Unused blow dry spray and body mist (Kennington OX1) Unused Mark Hill blow dry spray and Yardley moisturising body mist, honeysuckle fragrance.

Free: Vegetable Glycerin (soap making) (Kennington OX1) 1 litre sealed bottle of vegetable glycerin. Past it’s Best Before date. Bought to be used in soap making. I understand it can also be used in cooking?

Free: Pond pump (Kennington OX1) Blagdon MP2000 pond pump, with fittings and box (guidance and instructions). Maximum pool volume is 3000 litres. 10 metre cable was mowed over and the earth wire plastic is cut but the wire is intact, at 3.5metres from the pump. The pump still works. Electrician friend has looked at it and said it can be repaired, refitted back to that point or replaced. I’d rather pass this to someone more confident of repair here.

Free: Universal car mats (Kennington OX1) Fitted a VW golf sized car. Textile mainly, one area of rubber on driver seat mat. Cleaned and hoovered, ready for you. Oxford end of Kennington.

Free: Crocosmia “Lucifer” corms (Kennington OX1) Gifted Red flowers in late Summer, long sword shaped leaves, grows to about a metre tall, clumps grow each year but it’s not as spreading as other crocosmia (not a pest). Will flower in sun or semi-shade. Plant the corms about 10cm deep.

Free: Timer plug/ electric fittings (Kennington OX1) Expired I don’t know what half of these are- you are welcome to any. Now evenings are drawing in the timer plug might be useful to make your home looked lived in when you’re out.

Free: Plastic trim (Kennington OX1) Expired I have no idea what this is but google glass suggests Bailey trim (caravans?) or shower trim. Or you could use it for crafting, or can anyone think of an allotment use? 3 x 3m strips available, 9 metres in all.

Free: Folding bath bench (Kennington OX1) Expired Sturdy bench for the bath to allow someone struggling to get into or out of a bath to wash with a shower attachment. This should only be used in a strong bath, a weaker acrylic bath could be damaged by the bench legs with the weight of an adult. Received from another Freecycler alongside another that suited better. This one looks new.

Free: Carpet to hard floor rod- Z profile (Kennington OX1) Expired Length 2.3 metres (3 doorways worth), “show” edge looking down on it 3cm, height 2cm. Gold coloured.

Free: Outdoor Tap (Kennington OX1) Gifted Tap works well, it was just the pipe to it that had sprung a leak.

Free: Bike helmet (Kennington OX1) Expired 52-57cm size Abus (good brand) Youn 1 bike / skate helmet. Integrated rear light, easy adjustment to fit, bug net. £43- £56 new. This was left in our garden so I don’t know it’s history.
