Antique writing desk and chairs (Anna st in Teaneck)

This desk was probably given to my parents in the 1940s by my mom's foster mother who had a lot of antiques. It is being offered as is to someone who would like a nice antique desk (without the items shown inside). However, you'll see in the shared photos that one leg has an iron brace on it. It's been that way for as long as I can remember and is not visible from the front.

I believe the gold chair shown with it was added later. The original chair is shown with loose rungs that an antique lover might want to fix.
