Wicker Basket Seeking Purpose (By Hackney Downs station E5)

FREE – lovely old-fashioned wicker basket with a gloriously large handle. 🧺

It came to me one Christmas filled with things. I kept the things. I also kept the basket.

For years.

Apparently I was waiting for a basket-related emergency that never came. 😄

Approximately 40 cm x 30 cm, 65 cm tall including the handle and a good useful size. The smaller part of the basket is 28 cm x 17 cm. Lovely for a hamper, fruit and veg, craft supplies, kitten or cat bed, a Christmas display, or for wandering through the countryside collecting wildflowers.

The wicker has some wear and imperfections, but it still has plenty of rustic charm.

The blue wrapping around the handle was already there when it came to me and has clearly decided it is part of the family.

Free to someone who actually has a plan for it, rather than keeping it for several years in anticipation of an unspecified future basket requirement. 😄
