well used bike (Bristol, uk BS5)

I'll be arriving in bristol in the first week of September from Toronto, Canada and I'm looking for a good used bike since I'll be using it to commute to work for my teaching assistant role working alongside secondary students. If there is anyone giving away their used bike or has no use for it anymore, let me know! I'd really appreciate it for this new exciting move to get around the city and for work :). I'm 5'4 in height for reference.
