Dewalt DC970 drill (Nr Fresh Pond & Mt Auburn Cem.)

Dewalt drill and charger (DC970, DW9226). 18V, 1/2".
This is older style Dewalt set that uses NiCd batteries.
These were sold primarily from the mid-2000s until 2022, when DEWALT officially discontinued their entire 18V NiCd (Nickel-Cadmium) cordless system.
My batteries are shot and I will recycle them, but maybe you can use the tool and/or charger?
