A few very old Ridge Tiles plus... (Sutton SS4)

Old ridge tiles and decorative parts.

These were taken from my parents house (built early 1900s). They were removed when the roof had to be repaired after the storm of 1987. To make the repair consistent, these tiles (which were NOT damaged) were removed to be replaced with modern items to match the repaired tiles.

There are 6 plain ridge tiles 1 foot (30.5 cms) long.
One ridge tile with the fancy ‘cloverleaf’ cut-outs in the ‘fin’ (see photo).
One with the ‘hooked scroll’ feature (see photo) – this went over the end of the ridge (over a bay).

Could be used for repairs, or another decorative purpose.

Note! Sadly, the ‘hooked scroll’ part broke off cleanly when I was preparing it for the photos.
I immediately glued it with epoxy resin – but look at it and see what you think.

Also, I have a couple of tins of old tile paint (when I shake them, there’s still liquid inside) – you can have those as well.
